Axel Macro departs as Director
Rotterdam, June 2026 – Unfortunately, Axel Macro has announced that, as of 1 June 2026, he will be stepping down from his role as Director Legal & Compliance at Hodl to focus on the further growth and expansion of his law firm, Bailey Parker.
Over the past years, Axel has been a valued and reliable member of the board. With his extensive legal expertise and strong focus on compliance, he has made an important contribution to the further professionalisation and development of Hodl.
We are very grateful to Axel for his dedication, commitment and expert contribution to our organisation. Although he will be stepping down from his formal role at Hodl, Axel has confirmed that Hodl can continue to rely on his legal expertise and advice in the future.
Dirk Jan Schuld and Maurice Mureau will continue in their roles as Directors of Hodl, ensuring continuity in the leadership and strategic direction of the organisation.
